Every Sensible Soccer version

The names overlap on purpose. Sensible Soccer, Sensible World of Soccer, a year such as 2006, and a season such as 25/26 are not the same kind of thing. This page is the map. The detail lives on the child pages.

Official releases worth separating

Wikipedia's series article is the spine: 1992 European Champions on Amiga, Atari ST, and DOS; 1994 International Edition; 1994 Sensible World of Soccer; yearly data updates through 96/97; a disliked 3D game in 1998; Sensible Soccer 2006; and the Xbox 360 SWOS in 2007.

Community work is labelled as such

SWOS 97/98 and the 1998 World Cup edition that came on a CU Amiga cover disc are community updates, according to the series article. SWOS 2020, dated 19 December 2019 on the SWOS United page, is a later community installer. OpenSWOS, repository created 21 October 2026, is an engine. None of those are Codemasters release announcements.

Questions people ask

What does the number 2 refer to?

I cannot find an official Sensible Soccer 2 in the series list. People usually mean a sequel that was never numbered that way, or they mean SWOS.

Which page compares them?

The best-version page is the comparison. This page only stops the names colliding.
