Privacy policy

This policy matches the scripts this build actually loads. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra are on by default; Reject turns them off and remembers that choice for 180 days. The YouTube player appears only after you press play.

What loads, and when

HTML pages, CSS, fonts, and images are served from sensiblesoccer.net. Fonts are Source Sans 3 and Press Start 2P, shipped with the site, not requested from a font host.

Google Analytics 4 runs on every page through the Google tag (gtag.js) from www.googletagmanager.com, with measurement ID G-NW8P76EE5D. Consent Mode v2 starts before the Google tag configuration: analytics_storage is granted; ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied; ads_data_redaction is enabled. The local default-on choice controls whether the scripts load, and does not grant these three Google advertising signals. Reject turns all four signals to denied, disables GA4, and reloads the page without these optional scripts.

Microsoft Clarity runs on every page through project z5onfzd833. The loader creates the clarity.ms tag after the page has parsed; the initial HTML carries the project ID as text only. Clarity can collect page views, clicks, scroll depth and session replays. It applies its own masking rules to sensitive fields; avoid sending sensitive information through any recorded page.

Adsterra serves two placements: NativeBanner_1 (ad unit 31998004) in the content column and SocialBar_1 (ad unit 31998005), the floating bar at the bottom of the viewport. The loader creates both bicea.org script tags after parsing, so no ad script blocks the first paint. Adult advertising is switched off at the Adsterra website level (website id 6161786, publisher id 3403020). No Popunder, Banner or Smartlink unit runs here.

The YouTube player is not requested until you press the play button on a video. Pressing it inserts an embed from www.youtube-nocookie.com; that service can then see your address and set its own storage. Do not press play if you do not want that request.

Network check on 30 October 2026: before a choice, the build requested www.googletagmanager.com and www.google-analytics.com (Google Analytics), www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms and rotating collection subdomains such as a.clarity.ms through u.clarity.ms (Clarity), and bicea.org (Adsterra). These services load by default and Reject disables their loaders. No YouTube iframe was present before a play click. Advertising demand partners can change; an ad may contact additional creative hosts after delivery.

Reject saves the choice for 180 days, removes the Adsterra units, disables GA4 and sends a denied consent update; it also sends Clarity a denial. The page then reloads with Google Analytics, advertising and Clarity loaders disabled, which stops code already running on the previous page. Later page views make no new requests to their script hosts. Requests already sent before you pressed Reject cannot be recalled.

The third parties, by name

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Property 561625310 receives page URLs, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device information, and interaction events. Google retains event data under the retention setting of that property, which is managed in the analytics property; an independently verified retention value is not available for this edition. Google's privacy policy is https://policies.google.com/privacy and its opt-out add-on is https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Microsoft Clarity is provided by Microsoft Corporation, project z5onfzd833. It receives page URLs, clicks, scroll depth, browser and device information, and a session recording subject to Clarity masking settings. Microsoft retains Clarity data under its own retention schedule; this edition does not assert an unverified fixed lifetime. See https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement and https://clarity.microsoft.com/.

Adsterra is the advertising network behind both units, publisher id 3403020, website id 6161786. Its script host is bicea.org; ads fill from Adsterra and its demand partners. Adsterra receives your IP address, page URL, referrer, user agent, viewport size and what you do with an ad, so it can deliver and measure advertising. It may set cookies or local storage on bicea.org and on creative domains for frequency capping, measurement and interest-based ads. Its policy is https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/. We hold the publisher account directly in our own name, and the adult-ads switch is off.

YouTube is provided by Google. A video is requested only when you press play, from www.youtube-nocookie.com. Playback can also contact youtube.com, googlevideo.com, ytimg.com, ggpht.com, google.com and doubleclick.net, which may set their own storage. See https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Cloudflare provides hosting and email routing for sensiblesoccer.net. A request to this first-party domain necessarily sends your IP address and HTTP request information to the host. We do not run Cloudflare Web Analytics or add its beacon. Contact mail is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to the mail-hub Worker mailbox; a copy is mirrored to the operator’s Gmail inbox, provided by Google, so correspondence can be read and answered. We do not run a traffic-mesh banner SDK or any other advertising or recording script in this build.

Personalised ads, opt-out, and legal basis

The Adsterra units can serve interest-based advertising. To limit interest-based ads across sites, use Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com, the NAI opt-out at https://optout.aboutads.info, or Your Online Choices at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu. For data Adsterra itself holds, use https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/. Reject in our banner is the direct opt-out here, because it removes the ad units rather than only switching them to non-personalised mode.

This site uses a default-on policy for readership measurement, recordings and advertisements. The banner records granted on a first visit with no stored choice; this local setting is not a claim that you explicitly consented. The three Google advertising signals remain denied. Reject records rejected and withdraws the ad, recording and analytics scripts. The choice is kept for 180 days and can be changed at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, or navigator.doNotTrack is 1, the site records rejected without waiting for a click and keeps ads, Clarity and analytics off. Clearing site data removes ss_consent and ss_social_closed; the banner then appears again on the next visit and the default-on rule applies again.

The site publishes public/ads.txt with the single seller line adsterra.com, 3403020, DIRECT. No other advertising network is declared.

Mail, your rights, and changes

If you email [email protected], we receive the message and the address you used, in order to reply or to correct a page. We do not add you to a marketing list. Mail is handled so the desk can read and answer. Retention follows the mailbox: keep what we still need for a correction, delete the rest when the thread is done.

You can ask for a copy of mail we still hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the same address. For data Google, Microsoft or Adsterra collected through the scripts above, use the opt-out and privacy links in those sections; you may also contact us about requests involving the site’s provider accounts. You can complain to your local data authority. We do not run a user account system, so there is no profile to export beyond that correspondence and the browser keys on your own device.

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The date on this edition is 30 October 2026.

Questions people ask

Do ads load before I click Accept?

Yes. A first visit with no stored choice is treated as granted, so Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and the two Adsterra units load immediately and the banner explains that. Reject turns them off and is remembered for 180 days.

What happens when I press Reject?

The choice is saved, GA4 is disabled and receives a denied update, and Clarity is asked to stop. The page reloads without those optional loaders; later page views do not request their script hosts. Requests already sent before the click cannot be undone.

Does Clarity record what I type?

Clarity applies masking rules to sensitive input fields, but this site does not guarantee that every visible piece of text is hidden in recordings. Use Reject to turn recording off.

Can I hide the floating Adsterra bar?

Yes. Press Hide floating ad on the bar; the choice is stored in ss_social_closed for 180 days, so the bar stays away on later pages. Clearing site data brings it back.

Who do I email?

[email protected] for privacy requests, corrections, or removal of correspondence.
