Sensible Soccer on Evercade

Yes, with a catch. Evercade's Codemasters Collection 1 cartridge includes Sensible Soccer, and the publisher now calls the cartridge a Legacy collection that is no longer in production. You are shopping second-hand.

Which edition is on the cartridge

The Evercade page says the collection holds 17 games, including Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder, and Mega-Lo-Mania. It does not, by itself, name the computer version.

Time Extension's review on 19 December 2023 identifies the Sensible Soccer on that cartridge as the Mega Drive and Genesis International Edition, and scored the collection 8 out of 10. I am using both pages: the publisher for the 17-game list and the out-of-production line, the review for which edition you actually play.

Price and stock

The official cartridge page did not show a current price when I read it, because the product is no longer made. I am not inventing a second-hand average. Check a retailer and treat the number as today's ask.

Dutch searches for spelen on Evercade land here too. It is a real cartridge, and it is not a download code.

Questions people ask

Is this the Amiga original?

No. Time Extension says it is the Mega Drive International Edition. The Amiga game is a different release.

Can I still buy it new?

The publisher says it is no longer in production. Any new-in-box copy is leftover or second-hand stock.

Does the cartridge include Cannon Fodder as well?

Yes. The same Evercade page lists Cannon Fodder and Mega-Lo-Mania among the 17 games.
