SENSIBLE SOCCER
How to install SWOS 25/26
SWOS 25/26 is season data for a game you already own. It is not a new Sensible Soccer. On PC, SWOS United's download page points at the SWOS 2020 installer, version 7.7, 94MB, described for Windows XP through Windows 10, and it says the original version is needed. On Amiga, the same page lists a WHDLoad archive and an HDF.

Two paths, and a disagreement about who published them
GamesNostalgia describes a 2025-26 database built on SWOS 2020, a career that starts in 2025, five substitutes, an Amiga release, and names SensibleSoccer.de as the publisher. It also prints an 86 percent score of its own. I am not repeating 86 percent as a consensus.
Generation Amiga, on 17 January 2026, says Playaveli released the WHDLoad version on 7 January 2026, and names editors Gorzo, Hellasmarco, daddywarhol, Betichus, and gatifun. That day is one article. I say January 2026 in the summary, and I name the day only next to that source.
I will not pick one publisher. The honest line is: the SWOS United community published it, and Playaveli led the WHDLoad release.
| File | Machine | Note on the page |
|---|---|---|
| SWOS 2020 v7.7 installer | PC | 94MB, original version needed, Windows XP through 10 |
| SensibleWorldofSoccer2526_v2.3.lha | Amiga | WHDLoad |
| SWOS2526.hdf | Amiga | WHDLoad inside the HDF, no ADF required |
Windows 11 and the GOG copy
The download page stops at Windows 10. I will not add Windows 11. GOG's 96/97 is the copy people use as the original, and I have not run the 7.7 installer against it for this page. The page's own words are enough: original version needed.
Amiga career notes on that page mention a 25/26 start, league sizes closer to real life, and five substitutes on each bench. That bench size also appears in the GamesNostalgia write-up, so the five-substitute claim has two sources. The exact 7 January day does not.

Questions people ask
Is this an official season?
No Codemasters season. It is community data on top of SWOS.
Do I need ADF disks for the HDF?
The download page says the HDF already contains the WHDLoad setup and does not need ADF disks. You still need the right to use the game.
What day did it come out?
January 2026. The 7 January date is Generation Amiga alone.
